Southern Railway – Wagons for the Patagonian railways

Buenos Aires, 12 December 1910

Doc. Nº 9677-F-1910.—In view of the papers which the undertaking of the Southern Railway present requesting payment for the erection and transport of 55 covered wagons, acquired from the manufacturer, the Leeds Forge Co, and intended for the Patagonian railways, by virtue of that stipulated in the Decree with the agreement of the Ministers dated 7 January 1909; taking into account that advised by the General Manager of Railways, who states that the said wagons were assembled in Tolosa by the undertaking of the Southern Railway, as they were the only works at that time which could undertake such works, and noting the information provided by the Director General of Accounting,

The president of the Argentine Nation, with the agreement of the Ministers–DECREES :

Clause 1 – Approve the additional payment of seven thousand two hundred and thirty nine pesos and seventy cents national money which represents the amount of the assembly and transport of the said material under the authority of the Decree of 7 January 1909 and the payment by the Ministry of Finance to the undertaking of the Southern Railway in the sum of fourteen thousand two hundred thirty nine pesos and seventy cents national money, the amount of the said assembly and transport to Tolosa of the said rolling stock.

Clause 2 – Having already paid the sum of seven thousand pesos national money, charge the said additional expense of seven thousand two hundred and thirty nine pesos and seventy cents national money, in its equivalent in gold to Law 5559.

Clause 3 – Having previously advised the Director General of Accounting, pass the papers to the Ministry of Finance.
