LANAS: Toda la zona de influencia está explotada con la especie ovina. Aqui el camión no ha incursionado tan intensamente como en las otras líneas y ello débese a razones de distancia.- La producción es casa totalmente transportada por nuestro medio.-
WOOL: The whole sphere of influence is devoted to sheep rearing. Here the lorry has not intruded so intensively as in the other lines and this is due to distance. The output is wholly transported by our means.

INDUSTRIAS: En Puerto Deseado existe un frigorifico perteneciente a la Corporación Argentina de Productores de Carnes, que en años buenos ha llegado a faenar hasta 300.000 animales con destino a la explotación (exportación?).- La intensidad del trabajo queda supeditada a las condiciones de los campos que a su vez lo están por el régimen de precipitaciones pluviales.- Si los factores se aunan son el resultante de faenamientos como el que se cita, en casos adversos estos se restringen o paralizan, como ha ocurrido en estos dos últimos años.-
INDUSTRIES: In Puerto Deseado there is a frigorifico owned by the 'Corporación Argentina de Productos de Carnes' which in good years has reached 300, 000 animals for export.
The intensity of the traffic is dependant on the conditions in the countryside which in turn depend on the rainfall. If the factors come together then the outputs are as noted. In adverse conditions the output is restricted or paralysed, as has happened in the last two years.

MINERALES: Se prevee(?) que en esta zona también ha de presentarse el petroleo, presunción que dá el hecho due Cañadón Seco se encuentra a escasos kilómetros de la estación Pico Truncado y además por los estudios que se están realizando en sus adyavencias.-
La explotación de este producto puede variar fundamentalmente el tráfico de la línea de Puerto Deseado.-

Se transporta plomo y zinc entre Colonia Las Heras y Puerto Deseado con destino a buques de Ultramar. Se trata de mineral porporcionado por un establicimiento minero sito en Puerto Cristal (Chile) en un volúmen anual de alrededor de 10.000 toneladas.

MINERALS: It is foreseen that this area also has oil, a presumption given the works at Cañadón Seco, located a few kilometers from Pico Truncado station, and moreover by the studies which have been carried out in the area.
The extraction of this product could alter fundamentally the traffic on the Puerto Deseado line.
Lead and Zinc is transported between Las Heras and Puerto Deseado for shipment by "Ultramar" ships. It deals (also) with a mineral supplied by (?) a mining undertaking at Puerto Cristal (Chile) with an annual volume of about 10, 000 tonnes.

MERCADERIAS: Está relacionado su volúmen a la densidad que registran las distintas poblaciones. No se puede considerar de mucha importancia.-
MERCHANDISE: It is related in volume to the size of the various villages. It cannot be considered of much importance.
